Too close!

Five dogs, photographed far too close. Every zoom-out costs 4, every wrong name costs 4 — naming the breed while it's still just an ear is what pays.

The scoring is the whole game: guessing early is worth far more than guessing right after four zoom-outs. So commit on the coat texture and the ear set while the picture is still an abstract patch, and resist the pull to zoom just once more. Breeds with distinctive coats — a wiry terrier beard, a merle patch, a corded coat — give themselves away long before the silhouette does.
